At Lutterworth United Reformed Church, we try to serve the Lord Jesus Christ and the community here in Lutterworth. This year has been one of faithful preaching of the Gospel and our thanks goes again to all those visiting preachers and members of the local congregation who serve us so well. Attendance at Sunday Services is steady and we are all greatly blessed by the regular attendance of our children throughout the year. We are also thrilled to welcome new regular worshippers - we assure them of a warm welcome.
We have a 'Parent, Carer, Toddlers Group' programme which includes a support group with parents and carers of small children, providing educational and recreational facilities for the young people who come along, as well as giving the adults an opportunity to talk through their concerns.
We also have a group of people, often those who would otherwise always eat alone, who come once a week for the opportunity to chat with others and a
meal in 'Lunchtime Service'.
The
Prayer Meeting continues each Sunday Morning at 9-30am. It is a small group
but regularly upholds those members and friends in
special need of prayer, the concerns of our community
and the wider world. If you cannot come every week, but
would like to drop in occasionally you would be most
welcome. The
Prayer Request book can be found each Sunday on the
chair in the vestibule with a pen beside it. If you
would like the group to pray for any specific concern,
please enter it in. A small 'Bible Study' group meets on the first Wednesday
in each month. We try to acquaint ourselves with some of
the new hymns that the ministry team would like to
include in worship, as well as studying the Bible. Each
meeting is a complete unit, so if you can only come
occasionally, do feel free to join us. We have some
helpful discussions.
